Hello everyone! I wanted to share the inspiration behind this piece. As you know, at the beginning of my designing process, I cut out magazine pictures that speak to me and then I start designing according to how the picture inspired me. From the look of the pictures, I'm sure you can understand where I got the teal color from. On top of that, all of the warm tones in the pictures reminded me of antiqued bronze and that is how I determined my metal. Believe it or not there was a time when I use to try to be something other than what I was. Let me explain. When I first started designing, the trend was very delicate, simple jewelry pieces. SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO MAKE ADJUSTMENTS

Be on the lookout for new pictures of this piece. I had to do some modifications to the design. The piece that holds the chain had to be adjusted so the necklace as a whole fell correctly. A lot goes into designing pieces, even calculating weight and how it will affect the way the piece hangs. It is a beautiful and detailed journey to completion.
